Chak De India- A Reiew

Hey..Im back after being in the hiding for well a long time. Since this blog of mine needs some serious filling up, I thought of putting down some things as and when they happen to you. I happened to watch Chak De India today and found it to be an absolute beautiful movie.

Here's presenting a small review of the movie !! My rating for the movie is 4/5. A 5/5 is not possible for any movie coz there would always be something or the other missing.!!

If there ever was a movie that reinstated the belief that the Indian Woman epitomizes fearless courage, determination and the ability to compete in an all men world, its Chak De India . This is a movie which showcases the trials and tribulations of the Indian Women Hockey Team and the zeal and vigor displayed by their coach Kabir Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) and his journey to help the team ultimately win the coveted World Cup.
Chak De India scores with its novel yet beautiful concept , divulging from the typical stereotype Bollywood style dance n masti and keeps you enthralled at every moment. It also sends out a strong message to every sportsman in the country ie You are first playing for India, then for each other and then if there is any room, you then play for yourself. Try reiterating this line in front of our Indian cricketers. Its something they are not familiar with.
Speaking about performances, Shah Rukh Khan makes the role completely his own with yet another mature yet mesmerizing performance, shades of which were seen in Swades as well. His re-emphasis to the team of playing for the country, the team spirit he tries to embody and his persistent patience and motivation to the team stand out in his performance and is something which every coach in the country can take a leaf out of (unless you have a team without a coach!!)The Women’s team comprises of some new and some known faces and their performance brings this movie close to reality.
Go watch this movie and you will come back with a sense of pride of not being from a any state ,but an Indian first .If you are a woman, you would enjoy this movie even more as it will make you feel proud of who you are and what you can achieve.

And Finally.....!!

And finally as the title goes we are here...!!(Where?? ) We are at that point in life when I have created my own blog after much deliberation, procrastination(Insert similar words from Barrons!!) and am now going to do what everyone intends on doing after creating a blog and that is to post !!

I had a tough time thinking as to what I would use this blog for? What exactly would my posts comprise of? But then a blog space is about your own space and it should be used to put down whatever you want to under the sun(unless ur getting into the core and corona of the sun!!)

So, coming back to the point, this blog is about Seeking Nirvana(as the Blog Name goes)- Yes! That self enlightenment which Gautam Buddha attained while sitting under a Peepal tree (and thats all I know abt that episode in History!!) We go through our lives day in day out,without taking a moment or two to stop and feel the moment and experience the feeling of self-enlightenment,of harmony and happiness. I intend to seek my Nirvana through this blog and am hopeful that readers can connect through this blog and experience the same.

To cut things short, this is a blog space, we all know why we use blogs for (Thank god for realizing that after three rather "unwanted" paragraphs!!) So lets dive in.
